Wondermind, Co-Founded By Selena Gomez, Launches Content Hub

Wondermind—the “mental fitness” startup co-founded by Selena Gomez, media entrepreneur Daniella Pierson and producer Mandy Teefey, who is also Gomez’s mom—rolled out a robust content hub on October 3. The newly launched site, which debuted last spring with the goal of exploring real-life mental health topics through a triple play of media, production and branded products, now includes articles, Q&As, advice about mental health and a cool “Filter by the Feels” feelings-specific tool that prompts stories and other content based on the reader’s current mood.

The trio has big plans to elevate mental health stories across the entertainment spectrum, including film, TV and audio. “We are going to try to hit every medium that we can,” Teefey told me when I interviewed her for Forbes. “It’s important for the entertainment industry to hold some sort of accountability of how the narrative is expressed.”
