GREG RHEM

Greg Rhem, of Highbridge Dreams, LLC and Bronx Brain 64 Creative Consulting, is a producer, screenwriter, director, and creative consultant. Through Bronx Brain 64, Greg provides detailed analysis and advice to documentary and narrative directors and producers, regarding their feature-length, short subject, and series projects. 

Recently, Greg was a creative consultant/consulting producer/coordinating producer for MTV Documentary Films, where he was part of the team behind the Oscar®-nominated The ABCs of Book Banning. For twenty-four years, Greg was Director of Programming for HBO Documentary Films and helped discover shows for HBO, including the Oscar®-winning Freeheld and Born Into Brothels, and Oscar®-nominated Prison Terminal and Spellbound. 

He has also served as a mentor, panelist, and consultant for many festivals, markets, and universities (including SXSW, Tribeca, ABFF; the MEDIMED, Creative Capital; the New School, NYU, Montclair State University). 

Greg has written several feature screenplays, including sci-fi thriller The Dinosaur Four, a Screencraft finalist, currently in development! Greg directed the short comedy Advice From My Therapist, an Austin Film Festival runner-up; and produced the feature dramedy, At The Jersey Shore, and the short psychological thriller Welcome to Afrotree, for writer-director Chase Parker! Greg holds an M.A. in Media Studies from the New School, and a B.A. in English and Film Studies from the University of Rochester.
