Soleil Moon Frye
Soleil Moon Frye is an award-winning documentarian, actress, and director. Her most recent film, Kid 90 serves as a blueprint of Frye’s teenage life, featuring home videos, voicemails, audio recordings, and diary entries she preserved. The documentary features lifelong friends David Arquette, Balt Getty, Brian Austin Green, Stephen Dorff, and Mark-Paul Gosselaar, among others, and includes never-before-seen footage of Harold Hunter, Justin Pierce, Danny Boy O’Connor, Jenny Lewis, and Jonathan Brandis. Frye produced KID 90 alongside STX Entertainment with Leonardo DiCaprio’s Appian Way Productions' Jennifer Davisson and Phillip Watson serve as executive producers. KID 90 was nominated for a Hollywood Critics Association (HCA) TV Award in the category of ‘Best Streaming Docuseries, Documentary Television Movie, or Non-Fiction Series. Frye serves as a board member for CORE, an organization dedicated to saving lives and strengthening communities impacted by crisis. CORE has spearheaded relief efforts in Haiti, and the Bahamas and was pivotal in providing services during the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, she works with re:wild, a nonprofit focused on environmental conservation led by Dr. Wes Sechrest and Leonardo DiCaprio. Soleil is steadfast in her pursuit of diverse stories that raise awareness around the world's most important social issues.
